Regarding food at dance parties:  In light of more incidents of disease/illness being spread in this country from contaminated food, please when you bring/serve food at a party, provide a tongs/spoon for people to use to serve themselves.  Especially when serving snacks such as popcorn, please provide a scoop or ladle.  And please, never prepare any food or come to a buffet table without washing your hands thoroughly with soap (the soap and friction from rubbing is what kills the germs) or at least use a liquid hand sanitizer. Also, do not use your fingers/bare hands to serve yourself thus contaminating an entire bowl or plate of food.  I cannot believe the people I see who rub their noses, mouths, eyes or hair, or leave a restroom without washing their hands, or after dancing/shaking hands with several people go to the food table and shove their bare hand into the chips bowl!!

Social dancing, several levels of WC  Swing Jack n' Jills & Strictly Swing competitions, plus two classic routine divisions (prizes awarded in all)!   Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Mpls.  Included FREE in your weekend pass are workshops by top national instructors such as Mario Robau Jr., Mary Ann Nunez, Robert Cordoba & Deborah Szekely, and John Lindo; 2 dinner buffet meals; hospitality suites; a Masquerade Ball and costume contest.
