A ONE-TIME special promotional offer!  Salsabrosa (the Afro-Cuban  Salsa 
band), plays every Tuesday night at the new upscale restaurant and  nightclub: 
Trocaderos (downtown Minneapolis).  They provide music to dance  Salsa to, and 
some variety including Bachata, Cumbia, Cha-Cha, and  Merengue.  I went to check 
it out last night, and it was fun.  The  floor is good size and the 
atmosphere is great (There are booths around the  dance floor and up above)!  The band 
manager, Tim Owen would like to offer  anyone on "Tricia's Dance Email" and 
all Cafe Bailar  Dance Club members and all students of ours at On Your Toes 
School of Dance, to  come next week, Tuesday, May 16th for free!  Otherwise cover 
charge is  $7.  So, if you're reading this email and have never been to  
Trocaderos before, you qualify!  To be put on the guest list for next  Tuesday to 
check out and dance at Trocadero's for free, you must email either me

crinolines, ducktails, T-shirts, blue  jeans, bobby socks, Davy Crockett, Lucy, 
Howdy Doody, (prizes, entertainment,  and more).  Catered hors d'oeuvres buffet.

Country & Swing Dance at Shakopee Ballroom.  Hosted and DJ'd by  Elaine 
Boergerhoff & Bob Wood.  Line dance lesson 7:40-8pm.   Couples lesson 8-8:20pm.  
Dance 8:20-midnight.  $6.  (Tonight  we're celebrating Debbie Smith's Birthday!) 
 NOTE: May  19th is the last "3rd Friday of the month" Country/Swing dance at 
Shakopee  Ballroom for the summer.  June through August the dances will be 
only  the 1st Friday of the month.  Dates are: June 2, July 7, August 4.  In  
September, there will only be one dance: Sept. 15 (only the 3rd Friday of the  
month).  Starting in October, the schedule goes back to the 1st & 3rd  Fridays 
of the month.  Please also note: there is no  longer food available to 
purchase at the ballroom on dance  nights.

the  Williston Fitness Center in Minnetonka (taught by James Wood of On Your 
Toes  School of Dance).  Class dates are every Friday from May 26  through July 
14.  There are two different sessions, offering four different  styles of dance 
each (two weeks spent per dance), see  below:
6:30-7:30pm is Session I:  Waltz, Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue
7:45-8:45pm is Session II: Foxtrot, Swing, Tango,  Rumba
