Some of you may remember Jim Belzer from East Meets West Swing Dance Club.
He had surgery for stomach and esophagus cancer, removing part of each organ.
The cancer was caught. His stomach has been placed near his throat, soon
to be dialated so he can eat solid food. The next surgery will be removing a
small tumor on one of his kidneys, followed by chemotherapy. The prognosis
looks good. He did stop smoking 3 months ago and has regained better use of
his lungs! He also had a heart attack in 2001, and hasn't been able to dance
since. Jim says: "I do miss the dance scene as I spent so much time in it
the last 15 years." Jim Belzer: _jimbelzer1 at juno.com_
