Even though I pretty much am a walking dance calendar, please email me each

Friday, June 9th, 2006:
Cafe Bailar Dance (Ballroom, Latin, Swing). The free lesson of Tango will
be given by Jason Barrera from 7:30-8:30pm. Dance from 8:30pm-12midnight
with DJ: David Olson. $8/Cafe Bailar members. $10/nonmembers. Located at

Tricia & James are hosting a 2nd social Ballroom & Latin Dance Party at the
air-conditioned On Your Toes dance studio. (Our first one in May had 75

Dancers Studio (St. Paul) Summer Showcase, 6-10pm. Students and staff
performing, as well as open dancing and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets $20/advance.
$25/door.
Country Dance hosted by Ed Everson at Cheek to Cheek dance studio in Coon
Rapids, 7pm-12midnight.

USA-Dance (3rd Saturday of every month). I'm honestly not sure where it's
going to be held this month. I will know for next week!
3M Variety Dance (usually the 3rd Saturday of every month) at the Polish
American Club in St. Paul. Lesson 7:30-8:30pm. Dance by DJ: Loren Greenberg
8:30-midnight. (Check on this one, as I have not received confirmation yet).
Town & Country Days in Arlington, MN. Car show, vintage race car show,
tractor show, food, crafts, vendors, motorcycle rides, street dance
3pm-12midnight. Bands on Main Street: Teddy Bear Band 10:30-11:15am. Trailblazers

Cafe Bailar's 1st Annual Hawaiian Potluck Dance Party! Wear your grass
skirts, Hawaiian shirts, and leis and dance Ballroom and Latin Hawaiian style!
The free West Coast Swing lesson will be given by Tricia Parker & Soleman

Blvd, turn right. Go to 8th Ave., turn right. You'll see back entrance on

for great prizes, a limbo contest, and of course best-dressed contest. Grand
prize drawing is for a $50 restaurant gift certificate (must be present to
win!) Special entertainment provided by your own Cafe Bailar board members,
choreographed by James Wood. As for potluck: Cafe Bailar will provide
Hawaiian punch, cake, and eating utensils. Please bring something to share. Don't
miss this party! You will feel like you're in Hawaii.
