"Back to Country Night" (wear your former hats, boots,  and belt buckles!), a 
Country and Swing Dance at Shakopee Ballroom!  Hosted  & DJ'd by Elaine 
Parker and Bob Wood.  Line dance lesson  7:40-8pm.  Couples lesson 8-8:20pm.  Dance

social dancing!   $7/person.

Tuesday nights, $60 per  person, can be paid at  the desk or by phone. To secure

Come dance to the band Blue's Kings at Shakopee  Ballroom. The Blues Kings 
play great blues music for  listening and dancing. Their music it perfect for 
west and east coast  swing, cha cha and hustle. DJ Bob Wood will be playing a 
varity of dance music  from 8:00 till the band starts at about 9:00 and during 
the band breaks. Food  will be available at Shakopee ballroom from 7:30 till 
9:30, it is very  good and priced reasonably. Come on out and dance to a fun 
band on the  2,000 ft wood dance floor. Dates are Feb. 4th & 18th,  March 18th &

2006 (9th annual) Star of the  North Competition- Volunteer Information: 
February  17-19.
Co-volunteer coordinators: Sharon Kennedy and Mike  Jones.  The competition 
will be at the McNamara Alumni Center Memorial Hall  at the University of 
Minnesota.  The volunteer shifts are as follows and  the times can vary slightly 
depending on how the competition is  going:
-Friday Afternoon, 12pm-2pm, Floor  Set-up. 
-Friday Evening, 5:30pm-12am,  Competition.
-Saturday Morning, 8am-1pm,  Competition. 
-Saturday Afternoon,  1:30pm-6pm, Competition.
-Saturday Evening,  7:30pm-12am, Comp./Floor Takedown.
