Country & Swing Dance at Shakopee Ballroom.   Host & DJ: Elaine Boergerhoff 
and Bob Wood.  (1st & 3rd Fridays of  the month).  Line dance lesson 7:40-8pm.  
Couples lesson  8-8:20pm.  Dance 8:20-midnight. $6 cover charge.  Food 
available for  purchase 7:30-9:30pm.

Swing for Life- Dance.  6:30-10pm.   $7/adults. $5/seniors. $20/family.  
Swing dance lesson at 6:30pm.   Music provided by the Forest Lake High School Jazz 
Band.  Free desserts and  punch.  Water and soda available.  Location: Forest 
Lake Area High  School: 6101 Scandia Trail N, Forest Lake, 55025- corner of 
Hwy 61 & 97  (Scandia Trail N). Exit 97 E from Hwy 35, one mile north of the 35 
E &  35 W interchange.  Proceeds benefit Lake Life Care Center of Forest

teens something "good" to do on weekends.

First Friday of every month- Dance at Cheek to Cheek  Dance Studio in Coon

The Dancers Studio Midnight Star Showcase from  6-10pm.  Dance performances 
and social dancing. The Midnight Star  Showcase brings the added element of 
respected judges to benefit our  participants making this event one of our most

"Salsa Sunday" every Sunday  6-9pm.  400 members strong, 3 group classes: 
beginner,  intermediate, advanced.  Learn everything from basics to lifts. $7 at 
the  door.          

New  International Latin intensive group class (2 hours long): Monday 7-9pm,  
Saturday 11am-1pm.

New Beginner International Latin class: Wed at 7pm.  

New Beginner Salsa class: Wed  7pm.

Tuesday nights:

West Coast Swing at the Firehouse Lounge in  Lexington, 7-11pm.  Daniel is 
playing music and teaching very basic WCS.  Free.  He's trying to get a regular 
crowd there, and then come Spring,  promote some dance lessons in the area.  
Let the bar owner see  some good WCS so he may expand!  A dance club on the

Wednesdays are Ladies Night at The Rush Nighclub in  Cottage Grove.  Ladies 
get in for free and drink for free.  Mostly  country music, but a variety to 
dance 2-step, WCS, hustle, cha-cha,  etc.

Wednesdays are Salsa Night at AlleyGators  Restaurant/Nightclub in Maple 
Grove, (494 & Bass Lake Rd).  Free Salsa  lesson by Todd Paulus 8-9pm.  Dance with 
DJ: Todd Paulus 'til 12midnight or  later!  Free.
