[MNDancers] Al Legg is Seriously Ill

Al Legg is seriously ill with acute pancreatitis. (This is an infection of the pancreas, a gland behind the stomach which secretes digestive juice into the small intestine and produces the hormone insulin.; without a pancreas, a person would be diabetic.)

This pancreatitis produces a lot of pain, so Al is in intensive care under heavy sedation at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.  He is presently in stable condition, but he cannot have visitors, calls, etc. at this time.

Recovery can take a long time, and the concern is that pancreatitis can affect other organs in the body.
