engaged!!  The wedding and dance will be either Saturday, December 2nd or  9th this 
year!  We'll keep you updated!
 
 
 
Wednesday,  August 30th:  Free  Salsa lessons at On Your Toes (5810 W 36th 
Street, St. Louis Park).  We  offer one free night every 6 weeks and it’s 
tonight!  Beginner Lesson  7-7:50pm; Intermediate Lesson 8-8:50pm; $15 per class or 
buy 6 for $60.   Walk-ins welcome every week.  No pre-registration required.  
No  partner required.  All ages welcome.  
 
Wednesday,  August 30th:   Alfalpha Males are playing at Lee’s Liquor Lounge 
at 9pm.
 
Saturday,  September 2nd:  MN  West Coast Swing Dance Club picnic at Phalen 
Park Pavilion, St. Paul.   11:30am-2:30pm.  Rain or shine.  Eat at 12noon.  
Bring something  to share and an eating utensil.  Refrigeration provided, but not 
ice so  bring a cooler with your beverage.  The club will provide plates, 
napkins,  eating utensils, and coffee.  Concrete floor to dance  on.
 
Saturday,  September 2nd:   Metro Variety Dance at Harmonies Dance Center 
(Old Shakopee Rd & France  Ave), Bloomington.  East Coast Swing Lesson 7:30-8pm 
by Ann Albrecht and  Jeremy Todd.  Dance with DJ: David Olson  8-11:00pm.
 
Friday,  September 8th:  Café  Bailar Ballroom and Latin dance.  Lesson by 
Tom & Anne Latourelle  7:30-8:30pm.  Dance 8:30-midnight.  $8/$10.  Location is 
staying  at On Your Toes School of Dance (5810 W. 36th Street, St. Louis Park,

Saturday,  September 9th:  The  Dancers Studio Showcase.  $20 in advance, $25 
at the door, includes  food.
 
Saturday,  September 9th:   Ballroom and Latin variety dance at On Your Toes 
studio (5810 W 36th St, St.  Louis Park).  Tango lesson by Joycelyn 
Murphy-Fannon (the newest staff  addition) 7:00-8:00pm.  Dance 8-11pm.  This dance is

Saturday,  September 9th:  Back  to the ‘50s Scandia Taco Daze, a Swedish 
sock hop!  Art fair, parades,  kids’ sawdust scramble & races, dodgeball
