1.  DEADLINE IS RIGHT NOW for the meal reservations for the Tea Dance/Brunch at the Lafayette Club on Sun., May 7.( I have been asked to convey this message again as some have missed it.)
Below is my past message.  Call DeDe or Melanie to see if they can still get you a meal.  Of course, you can still come to just the dance.  It's a great event!  I hope to see you there!

Sun., May 7 - TEA DANCE (Ballroom Dance and Brunch) @ Lafayette Club's huge ballroom, 11:30-4:00, sponsored by USADance MN, $35 in advance by Apr. 27 for brunch and dance; $20 at the door for just the dance from 1-4 pm, dress up, DON'T MISS THIS! tickets: DeDe 651-452-4340 or Melanie 612-722-8480, 2800 Northview Rd. Minnetonka Beach; take 394 west, take the Co. Rd. 15 west exit from Wayzata; turn right by little brown St. Martin's Church across road from Lafayette Bay; Lafayetteclub.com for more directions and/or map.

2.  BALLROOM DANCE Fri., Apr. 28 @ The Dance Shoppe, Plymouth on Fernbrook off 494 & 55 is POTLUCK, $10, 8 - 10:30, by Scott Anderson; big floor, great music.

4.. RSVP to me for brunch/dance this Sunday, Apr. 30 @ Shakopee.  It's supposed to rain!!

5. West Coast Swing Champions, Robert Cordoba & Deborah Szekely are in town for private lessons/workshops @ Harmonies:Aug. 28 & 29+; still openings for private lessons call Bob or Gail at 952-820-0900 or 612-823-0397.

6.  This Sat. Night dancing:  Black & White Ball @ Tapestry or Classic Big Band @ Medina - both would  be some East Coast Swing music.
